Over the past two years, Tik Tok has cemented a major role in the music industry. It changed the way fans stream music and gave a new innovative way for creators to display their talents.
An artist who has experienced an immense amount of success on the platform is 20-year-old 24kGoldn. A little over a year ago, the Bay Area native dropped his song “Mood” featuring Iann Dior. The song would go on to blow up on Tik-Tok and become one of the most popular songs the app has ever seen. The song peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for multiple weeks and is currently 5X RIAA certified Platinum.
Since the release of “Mood,” 24kGoldn has not slowed down one bit. He was featured on the Fast 9 soundtrack, the Space Jam soundtrack and dropped his first album in over two years.
His debut studio album El Dorado — which was released in March — featured artists such as DaBaby, Future, Swae Lee, and Iann Dior. He released a single with Quavo titled “Alright” back in July, and now he’s back with a brand new single titled “Prada” with Lil Tecca.
If you are familiar with 24K, then you are aware that his most impressive skill is his ability to create instantly catchy hooks that seemingly emulate nursery rhymes — and in “Prada,” he does exactly that.

24kgoldn and Lil Tecca – “Prada”
The song has all the characteristics to become another hit for 24K. His melodic hooks, clever lyrics and fire feature from Lil Tecca make the track nearly irresistible. The upbeat tempo and smooth flow from both artists hold the recipe for yet another banger to add to his discography.
Its corresponding visuals showcase Goldn and Tecca in a mall trying to pick up chicks, taking on a narrative similar to the 2000s smash-hit film, Superbad. While unsuccessful, they decide to elevate their style and purchase some “Prada.” The remainder of the video displays the two kicking it in the mall, flexing their Prada gear and getting the attention they rightfully deserve.
24kGoldn has certainly come a long way since the release of “Valentino.” He has worked with some of the biggest artists in the world, has multiple Billboard chart-topping tracks, appeared on two blockbuster movie soundtracks — and he’s far from done. At only 20 years old, the future looks exceptionally bright for this young star.
