A$AP Ferg drops Pharrell-assisted single ‘Green Juice’

A$AP Ferg is bossing up and “Green Juice” is just the beginning for the Harlem-bred superstar.

Dropping his first single of 2021 in “Green Juice,” the track boasts vocals from the legendary Pharrell Williams as well as production from Chad Hugo and Pharrell’s famed Neptunes collective.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the “Plain Jane” rapper inked a joint partnership deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Records. His passion for business savvy as well as continued growth in his music has led to some major moves in his career, as Ferg eyes something greater in this half of his career.

“Green Juice” features Ferg rapping over a bass-heavy, eerie beat. His classic fast-paced flow is replaced with vicious lyrics about money and power — braggadociously touching on his wealth, status in the game and his impact as a wordsmith. Pharrell offers a melodically sing hook, matching Ferg’s subject matter and energy perfectly.

Shells hangin’ out of the vintage Porsche

New crib like a synagogue

Chew all these rappers up for free

Never ask how much the dinner cost

Renell sip Hen’, she gettin’ sauced

And wanna make love on the tennis court

You wonder why they call me the Lord?

You pussy-ass niggas, I invented y’all

I run the game, I set the bar (Roof)

Fuckin’ shit up like a wreckin’ ball

Adidas deal with the three stripes

Sit back and watch the check evolve (Whoop)
