If anything, Griselda and ALC Records’ Boldy James and The Alchemist have become quite a tag team over the years.
Stemming from their coveted collaboration The Price Of Tea In China in 2020, Bo and Jack are ready for another at-bat, releasing their second joint album of the year in Super Tecmo Bo.

Dropping their enticing BO JACKSON EP in August, the dynamic boom-bap duo expectedly ended the year off with a bang — keeping their “Bo Jackson” narrative in tact channeling his likeness from Nintendo’s classic video game “Tecmo Bowl.”
Boldy James, The Alchemist’s joint album ‘BO JACKSON’ out now
As the legendary NFL-MLB dual-threat is yet another topic of focus for the album’s overall concept, The Alchemist initially took to social media teasing the project with hilarious clips from Family Guy, where Peter Griffin and company fight over who gets to play as Bo Jackson in their video game. The album itself is yet another woozy, lavishly-produced escapade into Boldy’s innermost thoughts, as The Alchemist’s curation throughout the project is as exquisite as ever — incorporating unique textures, brass and orchestra melodies as well as vocal chops that Boldy spits viscerally over.

A day prior to its announcement, Boldy and Al shared the visual to “FLIGHT RISK” off BO JACKSON — giving fans a taste of what’s to come on their final go-around of 2021.
As Boldy and Al look to take over hip-hop’s luxurious boom-bap soundscape once more, all signs pointed to the pair ending the year off right.
