DC The Don keeps up hot streak with new track ‘Arrest Me’

Each new DC The Don single over the past few months has has helped him establish a strong momentum heading into his upcoming album My Own Worst 3nemy.

On Oct. 29, he kept his foot on the gas with “Arrest Me,” another likely addition to the album’s eventual tracklist.

“Arrest Me” lasts around three and a half minutes, and is produced by Jug, who has most notably landed placements on songs from reggaeton/rap artist Anuel AA, SSGKobe and previous work with DC The Don.

Similar to his most recent releases, Donny’s melodic prowess is the most standout element of the track, as he impressively croons and long-winded, catchy hook about his irresistible love affair.

I be falling hard, bae, can you catch me?

Coincide, she be tryna arrest me

Tellin’ me she don’t fall in love often

Understand that you gotta impress me

The song’s music video sees DC and his girl rushing to escape the figurative “monkey on their back” of the relationship, seeking happiness with each other.

At the end of the video, the date “11/19” shows, potentially alluding to the release date for My Own Worst 3nemy. Donny has been relentlessly promoting the project on his social media accounts like Twitter and Instagram, and each new single leads toward his new project being well worth the wait.
