Atlanta native Ken Car$on hasn’t been letting off the gas as of late. Fresh off releasing the visuals to TEENX’s “Butterfly” this week, the teenage phenom continued to bless fans Saturday, dropping SoundCloud loosie “Patrick Ewing” with Internet Money‘s Lil Tecca.
Car$on and Tecca’s chemistry is unquestionable on “Ewing.” As both artists continue to have productive 2021s, Car$on is preparing to release his highly-anticipated debut album, Project X, reportedly by summer’s end. Tecca is also prepping to drop his upcoming tape We Love You Tecca 2 — releasing his hit single “Never Left” with IM producer Cxdy earlier this year. On the other hand, he’s also been hard at work building up his producer clout — earning placements on SoFaygo’s “Knock Knock” and KA$DAMI’s “i know.”
Internet Money’s Nick Mira handles the production on “Ewing” — flipping a sample reminiscent of Travis Scott’s “ASTROTHUNDER.” With #MiraTouch on full display, Car$on enters with his signature glitchy flow, as him and Tecca trade-off verses effortlessly. The two-minute quick cut is just another glimpse of what Car$on may have in store following TEENX‘s success.
