Chicago street legend Lil Durk has made it a point to stay true to his OTF roots with a new single featuring fellow OTF member Doodie Lo.
On “Did Shit To Me,” Durk brings the energy and reminds fans why he is so well-respected within his cohort — trading flows back-and-forth with Doodie ever-so-effortlessly. A hectic instrumental backs Durk’s ominous threats as he delivers a hard-hitting verse before Doodie Lo comes in with the assist for a hook and another verse. Both rappers are repping their origins on this track, telling violent anecdotes about their personal and legal issues.
“I don’t be trustin’ shit
I don’t even trust my bitch, I just trust my switch
I don’t even trust my auntie, uncle, cousins, I don’t be trustin’ shit
Stand up nigga, he ever get a bond, he ain’t gon’ never sit (Never)
This gang shit run deep in my blood, I ain’t gon’ never switch”

Kankakee’s own Doodie Lo reintroduced himself to OTF fans with his 2021 album Big Doodie Lo, bringing along the likes of Pooh Shiesty, Moneybagg Yo, King Von, BIG30 and more. In 2022, Doodie has been releasing a steady stream of singles, including “Melrose” featuring Icewear Vezzo.
OTF head honcho Lil Durk has been busy this year too, releasing his star-studded project 7220 with its deluxe on the way this weekend (June 24). Its original and Reloaded editions featured Future, Gunna, NBA YoungBoy and others. His legacy continues to flourish as he never fails to make waves with his releases — continuing his reign as one of the streets most sought-after sonic playmakers.
