Maryland-native delivers new music for third week in a row.
Since unretiring in the third week of June, Logic has made it clear he’s back and here to stay. On June 18, he released the short, one-verse track “Intro,” reminiscing on his rap come-up. The next Friday, June 25, he released the YS Collection, Vol. 1, a 14-track compilation of songs from his Young Sinatra mixtape series from almost a decade ago that finally received sample clearance.
On Wednesday, June 30, Logic took to Twitter to post the cover art and announce new single “Vaccine.”

Logic released “Vaccine” at midnight Friday, July 2, making it his third consecutive week releasing music. The bouncy, two-minute track is produced by Logic’s “ole reliable” 6ix, who has worked almost exclusively with Logic his entire career.
On the cute hook, Logic is relaxed and laid-back in what feels like a breather in between his trademark up-tempo verses.
Aw yeah, just me and my dogs, yeah
Give a fuck ’bout what y’all doing, yeah, we goin’ hard all year
“Vaccine” — Logic
The first two of three verses are very brief, where Logic refers to his return to rap as effortless, and how he has found his rhythm again. He alludes to the impending drop of his new mixtape Bobby Tarantino 3, continuing the series he has not added to since 2018.
The production and vibe of the entire track fits the approach to songs from Bobby Tarantino 1 and 2, with less lyrical focus and boom-bap production that is a staple of most of his albums. It seems as though we could be getting the new mixtape soon with these consistent drops.
In the meantime, check out Logic’s new song “Vaccine” below.
