Mike Dimes releases new Internet Money-produced single ‘TALK2ME’

San Antonio’s own Mike Dimes has been elevating week-by-week since dropping his March album In Dimes We Trust.

Whether it be his multitude of fiery performances in Austin, Texas at SXSW in March, being nominated to the XXL Freshman list this year, his feature verse on IDK‘s “The Code” or touring with Denzel Curry and EARTHGANG, Mike’s stock continues to go up at a rapid pace.

On Friday (June 10), he released his newest single “TALK2ME” — just days after sharing the remix of “Home” (his album’s lead single that has eclipsed 24 million Spotify streams) with JID on Tuesday (June 7).

With bars like “She only talk to me cause all these n****s keep on jockin’ me, I got a bag with G’s and we ain’t even have to serve a G,” Mike’s latest release release surely demonstrates the money he’s been getting to as of late, and his continued thrilling energy whenever he steps to the mic.

“TALK2ME” is produced by Internet Money trio Taz Taylor, Ryder Johnson and 20SEVEN, and sees him effortlessly tackle a groovy, electronic synth that differs from his beloved violin-infused beats like “Home and “Wiss” and distorted samples on “Paparazzi” and “Backroom.”

While it is currently unclear if “TALK2ME” is considered to be a promotional single for an upcoming project, it is evident that Mike Dimes is taking advantage of the buzz surrounding him — more than motivated to keep climbing the ranks of hip-hop’s newcomers.
