Molly Santana‘s music is a moment that needs all the attention. Handling the climb of a rapidly growing fanbase, the Los Angeles-based rapper formally introduced herself on her debut self-titled album, MOLLY SANTANA. She delivered two lead singles off the project, “Black Ops” and “Chain Swangin,” ahead of its release on April 26.
On MOLLY SANTANA, the 14-track album successfully showcases Molly’s unique capabilities, but also her ever-evolving versatility and distinct vocals that continue to catch the attention of many. The project is filled with her exciting, rage-influenced sound and style, which fans often compare to that of Opium–the standard in the new wave’s current state.
Santana has been steadily releasing music for almost three years now. She shared her first EP, Molly’s World, in October 2021 and has maintained a relentless pace ever since. Following this, Molly treated fans to two additional projects in the past two years: Neptune in 2022 and Mélange in 2023. Her rise began to gain momentum in the latter half of 2023 when she started expanding her social media presence, subsequently growing her following.
