UnoTheActivist’s legacy in hip-hop’s new wave continues to grow with each new release. Breaking out of the original SoundCloud era, Uno not only celebrated his newfound label independence this past year, but further develops his rage-infused sound with his fourth album this year, Unoverse 3.
Asserting his impact in hip-hop’s new era, Uno detailed the influences inspiring his involvement within hip-hop’s punk-inspired wave, speaking on the importance of his collaboration album with Travis Barker in his Our Generation exclusive interview over the summer. Well-spoken and hungry with a vision to succeed greater things, Uno is on his way back to being one of the underground’s most sought after rappers.

Featuring some of his more popular collaborations to date, Unoverse 3 serves as his transition into the limelight once more, as Matt Ox, MadeinTYO, Zelly Ocho and Ty Dolla $ign all make contributions to the project.
Uno’s work ethic is simply unmatched, as the entirety of the Unoverse trilogy dropped in 2021. Just a month ago, he dropped the video for a fan favorite off of Unoverse 2, “On The Moon.”
Back in August, Los Angeles production duo Calabasas joined Uno for a collaborative project titled Time To Live. With smooth, sample-heavy instrumentals and a melodic delivery from the Atlanta rapper, the project brings out Uno’s mellow side rather than the rage.
The 25-year-old Atlanta native is not only fond of the new wave rap-rock sound, but fully embraces it — as Unoverse 3 proves to be a head-bobbing ethereal experience for all.
