Wolfacejoeyy went left on his latest track “nympho” — so much so that PARTYNEXTDOOR would be proud.
Recruiting BEAM on his third single post-VALENTINTO, Joey strikes a different chord than usual on the airy, dreamscape R&B cut. Echoed stacks meet layered vocals on “nympho,” as Joey emits “Freak In You” vibes pining for he and his love to dim the lights.
“You my main, you never the side-piece,” he croons, lamenting that “she’s a freak” as things get hot and heavy. It’s one of Joey’s most potent displays of versatility, bodying a new bag outside of his signature Jersey Club sound.
The Staten Island emcee, who shared his debut album VALENTINO in May, has stayed busy throughout 2024. Dropping a succession of singles in “luvu2,” “FINSTA / BIA” and “hate me” with Kanii, Wolfacejoeyy continues to elevate his sound and expand his sonic arsenal with each new track. And “nympho” is perhaps his most exciting effort yet.
