Gucci Mane’s newest signees seem to be a tight-knit duo as Hotboy Wes and Big Scarr drop a banger with “Free Smoke.”
The track is an aggressive collaboration between the two rappers that showcases why Wop signed them to the New 1017. After recent announcements of their signings, eerie visuals for the new single debuted on Gucci’s own YouTube channel.
His ability to find talent and shamelessly promote them has been a blessing to the hip-hop community for years, bringing us legends like Waka Flocka Flame, Young Thug, Chief Keef and the Migos before they had larger followings of their own.
Hotboy Wes and Big Scarr make up the next generation of 1017 as the label continues to build back into the spotlight. Along with Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano and BigWalkDog, they are looking to popularize the sound of the South once more in their own unique way.
