27Delly is your ‘Pusha Man’ on his new single with A$AP Twelvyy

Harlem rapper 27Delly has been taking over airwaves as he collects accolades on his journey as an up-and-coming artist in one of the most competitive environments in hip-hop.

Despite the stark number of high-energy emcees coming out of New York, Delly has carved a pocket for himself with laid-back, enjoyably calm tracks such as the songs found on his latest EP, Never Forgetting This (N.F.T.). One example is “Pusha Man” featuring fellow Harlem resident A$AP Twelvyy — recently receiving a beautiful set of visuals that portray their hometown.

“Coming out straight from the streets of Harlem

Been a problem since Kindergarten you could go call up Ms. Gordon

Godbody move this too gorgeous

Soul soaring every time I’m recorded

Run the point so I’m all too important

And I stay in the cut like im Cena”

27Delly — “Pusha Man”

Twelvyy and Delly complement each other’s rap styles perfectly as they spit over the mellow, bouncy instrumental, rapping about their experiences on the streets of Harlem. Both artists have a distinct delivery that is clear and stoic as they tell rough yet nostalgic anecdotes in their verses. The music video depicts a rugged scene that shows the duo in their home, adding to the authenticity of the song.

With features from Cash Cobain, Kalan.FrFr and more, Never Forgetting This is a testament to 27Delly’s collaborative spirit as he taps a few of his friends for the six-track EP. His work on soundtracks for production’s like Donald Glover‘s Atlanta and Issa Rae’s Insecure has pushed his career to the next level.

It doesn’t seem like New York will be slowing down anytime soon, making room for incoming emcees like 27Delly and his talented peers.
