Bobby Shmurda previews first single since release from prison

Fans can finally look forward to some music from Bobby Shmurda in the near future, stemming from the end of his six-year incarceration last month.

Bobby has been spotted with a plethora of artists since his release, building anticipation for his inevitable musical return. Quavo and the New York rapper met up immediately after he got out, hopping on a private jet with no hesitation.

Notable appearances include his role in Meek Mill’s “Flamerz Flow” video, also hanging out alongside Meek at the all-white July 4 party that saw appearances from Yo Gotti, Travis Scott, Jay Z, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Baby.

Shortly after his release, he also had one-on-one sessions with longtime friend Rowdy Rebel, Gucci Mane, J. Balvin and Polo G. This most recent snippet was followed by Bobby showing face in a story post by 42 Dugg.

No doubt most of these encounters resulted in some level of musical collaboration. Bobby has managed to stay relevant despite over half a decade out of the limelight, so fans are definitely starving for some new material.

In an Instagram post from late May, he mentioned “Chocolate City Summer,” though it’s unclear if this is another song or project.

This story will be updated.
