Kanye West’s rollercoaster ride of a rollout for his tenth studio album DONDA was certainly well worth the wait.
After the LP’s surprise release Sunday, it’s already enjoying massive success after a few days on digital streaming platforms.
According to Chart Data, the 27-track mosaic raked in nearly 100 million streams on the Global Spotify Chart Aug. 29 — marking the platform’s second-biggest album debut of all-time. Ye’s latest effort comes second to Drake’s 2018 double-album Scorpion, which reeled in 132 Million streams in its debut.
