Freddie Gibbs announces ‘Space Rabbit Tour’ with Zach Fox and Redveil

Freddie Gibbs has been gearing up for his upcoming studio album Soul Sold Separately all year. Fans expect to see an elite mix of production on the album including beats from Madlib, Alchemist, Boi-1da, Pharrell Williams and many more. While there is no official release date yet, Freddie tweeted in November that SSS would be the album of the year, so we could potentially be looking at a last minute 2021 release or a glistening jumpstart to the new year.

SSS currently has three promotional singles, dating back to February with “Gang Signs” featuring ScHoolboy Q, then its follow-up two months later with the stellar “Big Boss Rabbit” and most recently “Black Illuminati” featuring Jadakiss in November. Freddie anticipates this could be his last album before he switches lanes into R&B.

To accompany the eventual album, though, Freddie will be hitting the road for the “Space Rabbit” North American tour, which travels to 19 different states and Vancouver, BC from April to June 2022.

With him, Gibbs brings burgeoning artists like Twitter meme legend and aggressive wordsmith Zack Fox, teenage alt hip-hop phenom Redveil and New York SoundCloud sensation MIKE. Fox has had a career-elevating year, dropping his debut album shut the f**k up talking to me in mid-October with hard-hitting bangers like “fafo” and “get off my d*ck” produced by Kenny Beats. Redveil is also trending upwards following the release of his breakout 2020 project Niagara, and coming out with fresh single “04″ on Nov. 23.

As Freddie gears up for his forthcoming album and tour, he wound up in drama involving Jim Jones who he has had a long-standing beef with for quite some time. Allegedly, Jones, Gibbs and their respective crews clashed outside of a Miami restaurant this week, as a member of Jones’ crew reportedly struck Freddie. Jones now looks to capitalize off of this moment by naming his next album after the restaurant the squabble occurred at: Prime 112.

Freddie appeared to be unscathed in the aftermath of the fight, though, even sending some sneak kisses Jim Jones’ way subliminally on Twitter.

As he looks to handle his beefs, Freddie’s new album and tour are an exciting new era for the Grammy-nominated Big Boss Rabbit. Coming off the success of his previous album Alfredo, there’s no stopping Freddie Gibbs at this point in time. SSS on the way.
