Kaash Paige mourns lost friends with 6LACK on ‘Miss My Dawgs’

Dallas native Kaash Paige has been essential character in the R&B scene for a few years now, appearing alongside a long list of talented artists — most recently, ATL’s own 6LACK.

Collaborating with Alicia Keys, Travis Scott and more, Kaash’s sonic repertoire continues to grow each year. 6LACK previously collaborated on the remix of her 2020 hit “Love Songs,” reuniting two years later for a melancholy ballad, “Miss My Dawgs.”

You don’t really fuck with me, only ’cause I’m really in your city now
Just admit that you look up to me, now you tell your friends that you hate me, how?
Hatin’ on the low, hatin’ on the low

Teasing upcoming visuals for the track, Kaash and 6LACK take turns sliding over the ethereal instrumental, crooning about lost friends and their independent success. The atmospheric synths and slow drums give both artists space to flex their vocals as 6LACK joins Kaash to give an autotune-infused verse.

Earlier this year, Kaash dropped a 6-track EP, ___, with appearances from Lil Tjay, SSGKobe and more, giving fans a taste before she follows up her 2020 album Teenage Fever. “Miss My Dawgs” may serve as the first single for her third studio album, however, Kaash hasn’t revealed her plan for whatever her next release will be.

For now, fans look forward to what Kaash Paige has to offer she impressed with her second 6LACK collaboration.
