Kendrick Lamar shares ‘Rich Spirit’ visual

K-Dot’s got moves in “Rich Spirit” — perhaps celebrating the eight GRAMMY nominations his critically-acclaimed album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, received this week.

Unveiling the minimalistic visual on Wednesday (Nov. 16), Kendrick Lamar is shown interpretatively dancing alone inside an abandoned building. This is the third music video from Lamar’s latest effort, sharing it amid completing the international leg of his six-month longThe Big Steppers Tour” later this year.

Off the back of a show-stopping performance at Saturday Night Live and an Amazon Music special, Lamar is the first artist in GRAMMY history to have his first four albums be nominated for Album Of The Year. The Compton-bred emcee also collected other nominations in Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “The Heart Part 5,” Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Music Video and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Lamar’s 2022 has been rightfully historic, as he and his label pgLang — which touts riveting talents in Baby Keem and Tanna Leone — seem to have plenty more hardware in their future.
