Lil Durk gets engaged to longtime girlfriend India

The Voice of Chicago just put a cherry on top of one of the most successful years of his career.

In 2021, Lil Durk dropped the deluxe version of his December album The Voice in January, as well as his show-stopping collaborative album The Voice of the Heroes with Lil Baby in June, which went No. 1. Along with that, he gave numerous high quality assists to big-time artists like Kanye West, Drake, Polo G, Trippie Redd, Meek Mill and more, as we crowned him the 2021 Our Generation Music Feature King.

Now that he’s wrapped up a nearly flawless 2021 campaign musically, he reached another important milestone in his life on Dec. 18. At Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI Big Jam 2021 concert in the United Center where the Chicago Bulls play, Durkio paused his headlining performance midway to propose to his girlfriend of four years, India Royale.

Before India said yes, Durk emphasized how much she meant to him, and praised her for all she has done for him.

“You know I love you to death. You’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot. You’re the realest and I just love you to death. Would you want to be my wife?”

Durk and India have been together since 2017, and have one child together, three-year-old Willow. Durkio has shouted out India multiple times in his music, most notably his three-song series of “India” from 2017’s Signed to the Streets 2.5, “India, Pt. II” from 2018’s Signed to the Streets 3 and “India, Pt. 3” from 2020’s The Voice.

Recently, as Durk was featured on “In The Bible” with GIVĒON on Drake’s sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy in September, he “promoted his b*tch” with bars about her small business.

She only play me in the whip

It’s wholesome to see that Durk and India are set to finally tie the knot, as they are the inspiration of love and loyalty for many couples who look up to them. Congratulations to Lil Durk and India Royale!
