MGK, Travis Barker drop ‘Papercuts’ off ‘Born With Horns’

In the last year, Machine Gun Kelly has revitalized his career by switching his sound for the better.

The former rapper, now pop-punk superstar’s album Tickets to my Downfall scored rave reviews all around, as MGK looks to bolster his success with another album in the works with Travis Barker.

Announcing their upcoming record with some fresh ink, Born With Horns, doesn’t have a release date as of yet, however, it’ll serve as a follow-up to MGK’s 2020 effort that was executive produced by Barker himself.

This announcement comes after MGK teased the project’s single on Instagram — which released Wednesday, Aug. 11. The album’s lead single “Papercuts” is also complemented by a Cole Bennett-directed video, as both MGK and Barker rage over the track’s pop-punk vibe.

On top of MGK’s success and his surprise performance at Lollapalooza last weekend, “the blonde don” looks to replicate his monster 2020 by linking up with the blink-182 drummer once more.
