As if their live shows weren’t electric enough, the stage is finally set for Opium to share it.
Announcing the “ANTAGONIST TOUR” by way of dark-washed, flickering billboards in London, the label headed by Playboi Carti — which supports superstar talent in Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang — looks to hit the road for their first time as a collective this Fall.
Starting on Sept. 6 in Denver and ending on Dec. 4 in Copenhagen, the tour was initially confirmed by prolific DJ and producer F1LTHY on his Instagram story, whose affiliation with Carti and Opium runs deep, as well as Lonely during Wireless Festival in London. The 38-date tour includes 10 international shows through November and December, visiting cities such as Dublin, Brussels, Paris, Milan and others. Tickets will be available for purchase on Friday (July 14) here.

All of Opium’s acts performed on Friday (July 7) at Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom, which is fitting considering the newly-plastered posters spotted in London. During Carti’s set at Rolling Loud Portugal on July 6, he showed appreciation for fans supporting his roster to the fullest, igniting calls for his long-awaited album MUSIC amid speculation of its release prior to the tour.
“Thank you for supporting my label, thank you for supporting Ken and Destroy Lonely,” he said. “Thank you for supporting my artists, F1LTHY, everybody. You know we gon’ come and when we come we gon’ talk about it, we gon’ do it. F— everybody. Don’t forget we did it first.”
News of the “ANTAGONIST TOUR” came off the heels of albums from Destroy Lonely (If Looks Can Kill) and Homixide Gang (SNOT OR NOT). Ken Carson’s forthcoming LP, A GREAT CHAOS, is set to hit digital streaming platforms on July 17, which could very well feature most, if not all of the Opium camp. Playboi Carti has been wildly active as of late, headlining a slew of festivals such as Rolling Loud, Sunmer Smash and now Wireless Festival. Word of a joint album with NBA YoungBoy is the latest in Carti lore.
