Tampa’s very own is kicking off the summer on the right note, as Richie Wess dropped off his latest single titled “Crash II” with a stellar feature from BabyFace Ray.
For listeners unaware of Richie Wess and his impressive resume, the Florida OG has been running the game for well over a decade – having worked with some major talent from a variety of hip-hop generations, such as Gucci Mane, French Montana, Fat Joe, Rich The Kid, SmokePurpp and many more.
In his first release of the year and the sequel to his 2022 track “Crash”, the YTC CEO decided to recruit Detroit’s very own Babyface Ray on the duology and the pair even linked up for a WorldStar Hip-Hop visual.
The track sits at two and a half minutes long and consists of a fast-paced beat where Richie effortlessly flexes his Tampa flow and rich wordplay over the Detroit-styled instrumental. Midway through the track, we are then greeted by one of Detroit’s hottest artists today, as Babyface Ray flexes his distinctive vocals and beloved flow.
