SiR delivers nothing but ‘Satisfaction’ on his latest single

As the TDE camp sees a huge resurgence in their movement as of late, California crooner SiR is back to join in on the fun.

Never one to outshine fellow Top Dawg Kendrick Lamar, SiR dropped his first track in over two years “Satisfaction” a week before Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, giving us some momentum for more TDE releases in the future.

The silky smooth single sees SiR singing soulfully over an instrumental fit for some 90’s R&B, as luxuriously sensual visuals mirror the heartfelt nature of the track. SiR belts passionately throughout the song, lamenting about the issues in his love life among other things.

Love me today, leave me tomorrow

Yeah, nah, this ain’t nothin’ new, just what we do

Silly games we play, things we say

Can’t keep our hearts from fallin’ apart

We went too far, let down our guard

SiR — “Satisfaction”

Appearances from SiR have been few and far between since his 2019 project Chasing Summer, featuring appearances from Kendrick, Lil Wayne, Zacari and more. With Isaiah Rashad starting the TDE marathon off last year with The House Is Burning and Ab-Soul releasing a new single last month (April 22), it seems like all of the artists on the illustrious label are igniting a new era — as TDE songstress SZA seems to be next in line.

Details on an upcoming SiR project are scarce at the moment, however, considering the extensive effort put into this beautiful release, he is sure to pull through with a full-length project very soon.
