During these difficult times, many people are unfortunately struggling due to circumstances beyond their control. Thatโs why when others step up and take initiative to help those in need, it can be truly inspiring.
Over this past weekend, Toronto artist Tory Lanez made his way to Baltimore, Maryland where he teamed up with non-profit organization Diamonds on the Rise and donated $50,000 to a give back event for single mothers and children.
The event, held at Steuart Hill Academic Academy, included food, drinks and fun activities like moon bounces and photobooths. Above all, Lanez was able to pass out merchandise and clothes to those in need.
This is not the first time Lanez used his platform to help people in need. During the peak of the pandemic, Lanez used his extremely successful โQuarantine Radioโ to help families in need and launch his โDream City Fund.’
Although Tory Lanez has sadly retired Quarantine Radio, he continues to use his status and large following to promote positivity and charitable acts.
Expect more generous events and new music from Tory Lanez in the near future.
