Travis Scott teases new track ‘Escape Room’ ahead of ‘UTOPIA’

La Flame posts new snippet on Instagram before unveiling a new track “Escape Room” during his Rolling Loud set.

Travis Scott took to Instagram today (July 24) to post a video featuring unreleased music ahead of the release of his fourth studio album Utopia.

In the video, Scott hops in the car, scrolls through his library and puts on the new track as he raps the opening lyrics. Quickly after, the video transitions to visuals of him in front of a big house, as well as on the beach, running on a treadmill and mostly just him living his lavish life. The minute-long snippet sees Travis find a groovy, upbeat flow with bars like:

We out the basement, I won’t flow where it’s vacant

She feeling anxious to be out where it’s dangerous

— Travis Scott

The caption of the post alludes to him announcing that he will play the song to open his headlining set tonight at Rolling Loud in Miami, FL. So, it’s fair to say Travis Scott will have the crowd rocking tonight at hip-hop’s largest music festival.

There is no official tracklist, cover art, feature roster or release date for Travis Scott’s highly anticipated forthcoming album Utopia, but it seems as though he’s inching towards a rollout with this announcement. In an interview from late June, he explained the album has a “psychadelic rock” influence.

We could perhaps be getting the full version of the song in concert version tonight, as we continue to wait for Travis’ next moves ahead of Utopia.
