Trippie Redd’s ‘A Love Letter To You 5’ could drop next month

Since sharing A Love Letter to You as his debut project in 2017, Trippie Redd has achieved a level of stardom unmatched by his peers.

Focusing on melancholic, emotional guitar-infused ballads, the ALLTY series has become a staple in Trippie’s discography — melding him into the superstar he is today. The success of ALLTY2 and ALLTY4 ultimately shot Trippie to the top of the charts and asserted him as one of the most enigmatic hitmakers stemming from the SoundCloud era.

ALLTY4 earned Redd his first Billboard No. 1 album, totaling 104,000 first-week units as the Ohio talent’s reign atop the game seemingly started with its bonafide success. Now signing a three-album deal with Elliot Grainge’s 10K projects label for $30 million — stemming from Redd’s constant collaborations with Internet Money over the years — ALLTY5 is gearing up to be another love-torn classic for Trippie.

As we have now approached the fall season, all signs are pointing to ALLTY5‘s arrival in the very near future. According to New York Times’ “75 Pop and Jazz Albums, Shows and Festivals Coming This Fall” article published this week, it would appear that the long-awaited LP is slated for an October release.

This development comes on the heels of Trippie dropping next month’s album’s first promotional single “Big 14” in early August, as he delivered a track with Offset and Moneybagg Yo that fans had been anticipating for years due to snippets he had previously revealed. On that same note, the primary reason Trippie’s supporters have been clamoring for ALLTY5 is because of the constant previews of songs and collaborations he’s been providing during his absence.

Ushering in many of the new wave’s blossoming stars, he still continues to embody the sound that’s always been a part of him — working with acts like KA$HDAMI, KiLLKODY, K Suave and more. Redd’s A Love Letter To You series is a testament to emo-rap’s influence in modern hip-hop, as Trippie sits rightfully on the throne as one of its pioneers alongside XXXTENTACION, Lil Peep, Ski Mask and Juice WRLD.

Since A Love Letter to You 4s release in November 2019, and its subsequent February 2020 deluxe, he has put out four projects, three of which have been in 2021 (Neon Shark vs Pegasus Presented By Travis Barker, Trip At Knight and Hate Is Dead). Trippie drops at least one project every year — sometimes two — whether that be an album or loose mixtape.

However, just as much as he releases music, Trippie Redd teases songs more often than any rapper in his realm of popularity. As he gears up for his next installation of the ALLTY series, A Love Letter to You 5, we found it necessary to round up as many snippets and potential songs he’s posted to his social media that could potentially land on the project.

There is currently no track list, cover art or release date for ALLTY5, but below we’ve compiled some of the tracks we anticipate may make the cut, including some with notable features.
