Days after being found not guilty in his California federal gun case (July 15), NBA Youngboy wasted no time getting right back to work.
Releasing his latest YouTube exclusive “I Don’t Talk” on Monday (July 18), YB keeps it raw and unfiltered — expressing his dissatisfaction with the industry and how he’s been black-balled as of late.
The 22-year-old rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again was found not guilty on Friday of possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon, concluding one of the two federal gun trials he had been facing. https://t.co/l9D1nc01Z0

“I Don’t Talk” promptly addresses the recent events that have taken place in his life, doubling down on his thoughts of the industry trying to black-ball him and being totally transparent about his feelings towards the relationships in his life.
They talk down on my name, on my face, they brought shame
Blackballed me from up out the game, bitch, strippеd me out the fame
I ain’t gеt a thing but a laugh when I told my pain
“Oh, that’s hilarious stuff”

Amid the new single, the 22-year-old Baton Rouge rapper previously shared an 11-track preview of The Last Slimeto in April, but now has his sights set on the album’s official release (Aug. 5) and a coinciding tour. Recording the entire album while on house arrest, Youngboy stated he “lost love for music,” as fans began to speculate if this would be his next project would be his last.
With the exception of the legal battles, 2022 has been a great year for YB — releasing his highly-anticipated mixtape Colors (Jan. 21) which was followed by BETTER THAN YOU (March 4) with DaBaby. With his fourth studio album The Last Slimeto on the way, Youngboy has been overly consistent to say the least.
