BabyTron — “Bin Reaper 3: New Testament”
A$AP Rocky — “Same Problems?”
JELEEL! — “RIDE THE WAVE!”
Armani White & Denzel Curry — “GOATED”
“GOATED / GOATED / GOATED,” Armani White spits with swagger on his anthemic new track with Denzel Curry. Swarmed by photographers and flashing lights, White, who emerged on the scene via his viral hit “BILLIE EILISH,” is spotted alongside Curry — sliding over the Pharrell-esque production reminiscent of “CASH IN CASH OUT.” Zel continues a streak of guest verses following his AOTY-contending LP Melt My Eyez, See Your Future. Armani is making waves — and for all the right reasons.
Dro Kenji — “UDNTLUVME”
Hit-Boy & Offset — “2LIVE”
Hit-Boy continues his unrelenting tear of the rap game on his latest single “2LIVE” with Offset. Over chopped vocals and a head-bobbing beat, Hit-Boy leads in with bars of his own before Offset takes over on the switch-up. This is Hit’s most recent collaboration prior to he and 21 Savage’s “One Mic One Gun,” which follows the third installment of the King’s Disease trilogy with Nas. Offset, who announced an album in late 2022, halted his rollout in light of Takeoff’s untimely death.
Glorilla & Moneybagg Yo — “On Wat U On”
Glo and Yo make the Memphis connection on their menacing trap banger “On Wat U On.”
Bizzy Banks — “OK OK OK”
New York City’s fast-rising drill spitter comes through with another pack of bops, sharing a 5-track EP on Wednesday (Jan. 11) titled “OKOKOK.”
PARTYNEXTDOOR — “HER OLD FRIENDS”
The OVO crooner makes his long-awaited return with his first solo single in nearly two years. PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Her Old Friends” is another instantaneous vibe from the Drake-adjacent emcee — potentially signaling a full-length comeback to the mic. However, fellow OVO label mate Roy Woods was supposedly prepping a return until his album, Mixed Emotions, fizzled without a trace. Nevertheless, it’s nice to see Party back in action.
