6LACK — “Talkback”
Iayze! — “Reverence”
Whatever you call him, Jace! isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Taking his time to perfect his new 29-track project Reverence, the 19-year-old pluggnb maestro is searching for new meaning — finding a revitalized respect for his craft. Highlights in “Second Chances,” “Let’s Diss Jace” and “Gostyle 2023 Freestyle” reassert the Texas native’s affliction for warbled, auto-laced bars mixed with heavy-hitting cloud-rap cadences. Climbing back to the top of the underground, these new sounds from Jace! (iayze!) are hard to ignore.

JELEEL! & Armani White — “Gnarly”
After unveiling the track at Rolling Loud California, JELEEL! and Armani White — who both shared features with Denzel Curry this year — connect on the hulking emcee’s latest single “GNARLY.” Ahead of his debut album, Real Raw, dropping this Spring, JELEEL! said that the track was “one of those ones that just came together effortlessly.” Armani incorporates lines from his viral hit “BILLIE EILISH” seamlessly in between JELEEL!’s party-perfect cadence.
“After the session, I ran into Armani at a party and ended up showing him the song, and just a day or two after that he sent his verse and we turned it in,” the Rhode Island-born rapper revealed. “I’m excited for people to hear it as I haven’t really shown my rap flow as much and it’s definitely a side of me that people are going to hear a lot more of.”

Pardyalone & Travis Barker — “ALONE”
There’s no better feeling in music than when two artists come together for a perfect collaboration. In Pardyalone’s case, emotively crooning to the legendary rhythms of Travis Barker are tailor-made for the Minnesota singer-rapper. Pardy, who saw viral acclaim with his 2021 single “not a home,” keeps his foot on the gas for another scathing pop-punk anthem “ALONE.”
Pardy’s voice is the star of the show on every track he touches — melding cadences consistent with 2000s’ punk rock a la Blink 182. Barker, who’s propped a few rap-adjacent rockers in recent years — Kenny Hoopla, UnoTheActivist, JASIAH, Machine Gun Kelly among others — makes his presence known on “ALONE” with a boisterous drum progression that sends chills down listeners spines. Following recent tracks in “A Place For Us,” “Test 11” and “Read Your Mind,” it’s evident Pardy is gearing up for a full-length project this year — celebrating another huge win amid feeling “ALONE.”
