2KBaby taps Chief Keef for their new track ‘Luigi’

While 2KBaby’s opportunities have been fruitful in 2021, his latest offering with Chief Keef in “Luigi,” is set to prime the budding Louisville artist more than ever before.

Bursting onto the scene in 2019, 2K initially gained heavy traction last year with his debut album, Pregame Rituals. After previously collaborating with DDG and Marshmello, 2KBaby made waves once more with a rendition remix of Bruno Mars’ “Lazy Song” — capturing listeners with his clever wordplay and hypnotic vocal inflections.

On his latest effort, it is Sosa that leads in with “Luigi’s” melodic production, using a much smoother delivery than his classic drill sound. 2KBaby follows by crooning about his responsibilities and success. Accompanying visuals feature the duo committing various crimes, including an elaborate bank robbery.

Chief Keef has had a similarly busy year, recently dropping the 10-year anniversary edition of his mixtape Bang. 2021 has also brought the Chicago drill legend collaborations with Lil Tecca, Trippie Redd, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Gnar and more.
