The summer is Don Toliver’s for the taking.
Setting off his upcoming album with singles in “BANDIT” and his latest “Deep In The Water,” the Hardstone president, which is the name of his newfound label, is diligently working on the follow-up to Love Sick (HARDSTONE PSYCHO) due out later this year. Working on the “best version” of himself, the Cactus Jack artist has broken through as a inimitable force of our generation.
“I realized I overcame so much in such little time,” he wrote on X. “And I’m still here to overcome even more… working on the best version of me forever. Album this summer. It’s mine.”

The new track follows Toliver’s performance of “BANDIT” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he initially announced its release for March 15. “Deep In The Water” was teased at the backend of the “BANDIT” music video featuring a cameo from Kali Uchis — Toliver’s girlfriend whom he is expecting his first child with.
“Deep In The Water” (produced by Broadday) sounds exactly as portrayed — explorative, underwater melodies, muffled drum patterns and auto-tuned croons that showcase Don’s superstar range. “Deep in the water, it’s just you and me,” he sings on the hook, paired with stark, oceanic shots of the HardStone MC riding his flame-decal Harley in the desert.
Text reading “to be continued” pops up at the end of the video, keeping the rollout to Toliver’s forthcoming full-length not only mysterious, but highly anticipated. Admittedly, Don Toliver’s already saved the summer before it arrives.
