Kankan invites DotCom Nirvan to his Bat Cave ‘Kickback’

KanKan is not only proving he’s one of the underground’s most talented rappers, but continues to wow with his unique style.

Originally finding space as a producer during SoundCloud’s golden era in 2015-18, KanKan has evolved for the better — taking his sound a step further in the booth. Initially rapping as a joke, turns out he has a natural gift for the craft — showcasing his menacing new wave bars on his latest track “Kickback.”

KanKan Interview: Dallas producer-rapper rides success of newfound rap career

With a video treatment spearheaded by buzzing director DotCom Nirvan, KanKan’s “KickBack” takes place in the Dark Knight’s Bat Cave of all places. Accompanied by a red Chevy Corvette and stunning cinematography from Nirvan, the duo creates an atmosphere unlike any other — painting a picture of street-centric luxury.

Releasing a steady string of singles over the course of 2021, KanKan has built up quite the discography. His highest streamed single “Goin To Hell” embodies his artistry perfectly — brash, bold and unafraid to take risks. On his recent EPs Oxy & Codeine and ##B4RR, KanKan continues to develop his sound with rage-filled finesse — looking forward to releasing new music in the near future.

“Kickback” is no different, pushing the envelope further with fast-paced siren synths and distorted 808s that KanKan flows over effortlessly. He spits bars about flexing bags, talking down on fake peers and more throughout the track’s 2-minute run time.

Blew a bag nigga just like last week

Told they man fuck’em they can’t catch me

Aye, In the A’s hell yeah that’s where I be

All thеse niggas they gay yeah

Thеse niggas they just copy
