Ken Carson drops “DELUSIONAL” ahead of ‘More Chaos’

Don’t be “DELUSIONAL,” Ken Carson is taking his time to his highly-anticipated fourth album, MORE CHAOS, worth the wait.

Throwing fans a curveball on Halloween night, the Opium trendsetter shared his latest single “DELUSIONAL” instead of the full-length album promised months ago. Nevertheless, the standalone effort is a sinister and spooky first look into the ensuing chaos Ken looks to bring more of.

Swirling with sharp synths and distorted 808s, Ken skates over the track with his signature warbled autotune, flexing his stacks in front of a lime green Lambo in the music video, directed by Gunner Stahl. In a new profile with Pitchfork, it was revealed that Carson is planning to drop MORE CHAOS in “early 2025,” according to writer Alphonse Pierre.

Carson’s ascension (and solidification) as our generation’s premier tastemaker has been second to none in recent years. A GREAT CHAOS became the career-defining moment for Carson up until this point, achieving the highest chart placements for any Opium artist (outside of Carti) with his latest effort. Sharing its 7-track deluxe in July, Carson continues the garner greater aura and outgrow his underground roots with a sold-out nationwide tour, premium festival slots like Lollapalooza, Summer Smash and Rolling Loud, among others, Carson’s climb to the top continues with MORE CHAOS on the way.
