OsamaSon has the underground in the palm of his hand. Combatting former UG leader Yeat for first listen streams on Friday (Feb. 16), the Ohio phenom fleshed out his flex-filled era with the FLEX MUSIX deluxe, FLXTRA.
Tacking on six new songs in “Cartel,” “Rehab,” “Need It,” “ALot,” “FLXR” and “Freestyle,” the now 23-track album is now OsamaSon’s gateway to bigger and brighter stages. Announcing his debut headlining tour with Rolling Loud, which coincides a set at Rolling Loud California (March 16), Osama is clearly poised for a career-year with tons of music to perform once he hits the road on Feb. 18.

His debut Osama Season may have turned heads towards his fiery, rapid soundscape, but FLXTRA is the true embodiment of Osama’s vibe: Carefree, volatile and infectious. The digitally-distorted “Cartel” and “Alot” couldn’t be more catered to festival moshpits, while “Rehhab” sounds like the late-Speaker Knockerz interpolated “Flexin & Finessin” into a rage-inducing, anthemic daze. “I see you, flexing,” he croons on the hook, asserting his chokehold on the underground by cutting through with bright, earworming melodies amid the chaos of crinkled, hard-hitting production found all over the full-length FLEX MUSIX.
Along with Hardrock, Yhapojj and others, OsamaSon is leading the charge as an artist personifying the future of music — being a face for its evolution altogether.
