‘Rumors’ swirl that Gucci Mane, Lil Durk dropped a banger

Chicago and Atlanta are two of hip-hop’s most prominent cities and when the two collide, fans can always expect something special.

Atlanta legend Gucci Mane called upon Chicago’s very own Lil Durk for a new single and visual titled “Rumors.”

The new track, produced by famed “Look Alive” Tay Keith, marks their first collab since the pair joined forces on the “War Wit Us” remix, which was released over seven years ago.

Guwop took to Instagram Monday night (Jan. 24) to inform fans that “Rumors” will in fact have the streets going berserk — similarly calling it a “street smash.”

As predicted, Guwop was right. “Rumors” is a fresh and powerful track filled with energy and passion that is sure to have fans going crazy. Durkio kicks off the track unveiling his Chicago flair and remarkable flow — confidently speaking his mind and talking his talk. Guwop follows Durk’s impressive performance with his Atlanta swagger, as he delivers impressive bars and showcases his enduring flow.

Gucci Mane, Lil Durk – “Rumors”

Guwop and Durk linked up for the accompanying visual that shows Wop and The Voice kicking it outside a liquor store with their homies. The duo is seen puffing gas, flashing their ice and showing off their foreign whips and of course, bankroll.

If “Rumors” is any indication of how most collaborations between Gucci Mane and Lil Durk would go, then the duo should most definitely consider a project together.

As 2022 is only about a month in, expect plenty of music from both artists as they are sure to keep up their hot streaks throughout the year.
