Gucci Mane has a long-standing history of dropping fire projects during the holiday season. With four installations of the East Atlanta Santa series, Guwop continues his yearly tradition with a compilation album featuring the New 1017.
Coming right on time for the holidays, So Icy Christmas is yet another collaborative project with appearances from the whole 1017 label. A festive cover surfaced via Gucci’s Instagram, showing stockings previewing new music from Big Scarr, BiC Fizzle, Foogiano, Hotboy Wes, Enchanting, BigWalkDog and Pooh Shiesty.
All of these artists made their first impressions on So Icy Boyz alongside stars like Quavo and Lil Baby, as well as conducting interviews and doing promotion with Gucci’s blessing.
Wop has never disappointed with his Christmas projects and So Icy Christmas keeps up the streak with spotlights on all of The New 1017. Each artist receives a solo spot as well as multiple appearances from the head honcho himself. Wop continues to prove that he is building a conglomerate worthy of the competition.
