As far as new wave talent goes, Xhulooo has proven to be one of the most talented rage-rappers of our generation.
His fire new track “suburban” not only continues his streak of catchy singles — stemming from his EP Rude & Reno in June 2021 — but also reasserts the 16-year-old’s ability to effortlessly make infectious melodies look and sound easy.
The track is filled with sliding synths, razor-sharp harmonies and auto-tuned bars galore. Produced by Bakkwoods — who headed up production for SoFaygo’s “Let’s Lose Our Minds” — and ninetyniiine, Xhulooo floats over the beat with ease, spitting about his affinity for serving in Suburbans and flexing his shooters simultaneously.
I like to ride in suburbans (yeah)
I called the plug and I asked what you servin’ (ay what you servin’)
Packing the sticks and my brother a servant
Big red beam on his head like a turban

Visuals for the track feature a flurry of effects as Xhulooo rides around and posts up in front of the song’s namesake. In December, Xhulooo released “Coming Home,” setting him apart from his peers with a scintillating instrumental striving to glow up in 2022.
