Bankrol Hayden links with DDG and KA$HDAMI for ‘Cabo’ remix

19-year-old Bankrol Hayden has kept particularly quiet since the release of his June 2020 debut album lined with hits, Pain is Temporary.

He has only dropped one solo single in 2021, “Cabo,” which has racked up over 17 million plays on Spotify since its June 25 release. Now, Hayden is back with the “Cabo” remix, released on Sept. 3, featuring two fellow up-and-comers DDG and KA$HDAMI.

The song opens up the same as its original mix, with its fun hook oozing summer vibes — sandwiching his promiscuous first verse about missing his ex.

When I hit, I was thinkin’ ’bout my ex

I even sent a text in the middle of the sex

You remind me of a girl I used to be playin’

I know your love is dangerous

Next, the features come in starting with rapper/YouTuber/boxer/influencer DDG on the second verse, continuing to ride his massive wave of popularity with lavish and cocky bars such as:

Givin’ out Louis purses like they was snacks (They was snacks)

Soon as I take ’em shopping, they get attached (Get attached)

Took her to Malibu in a Maybach

She wanna suck me up while I lay back, uh (Suck it)

The last verse offered by emerging new wave 16-year-old KA$HDAMI makes up for its brevity with amusing references to his experiences with flirty fans.

Said she never hit a lick and wanna come with me

Okay so, you was at the show, and I went to the crowd

Your number in my phone, and now you in my telly

And we actin’ grown

Hold on, baby, this the plug, so I gotta go
