Massachusetts rapper Bia is having a moment to remember. Now hopping on T-Pain’s “I Like Dat (remix)” — featuring the auto-tune pioneer and Kehlani — BIA’s fruitful 2021 continues to turn heads toward the up-and-coming female star.
BIA’s patented braggadocios bars not only revives the May single from T-Pain, but also brings another element to the trio’s overall chemistry. Despite dropping at the end of spring, the original version of “I Like Dat” did not reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 until Aug. 20. Pain’s hit single interpolates the beat from his 2007 hit “Buy You A Drank.”
BIA has been on a hot streak of late after the success of her single ‘Whole Lotta Money’ which earned a remix with Nicki Minaj. This remix comes a week after she linked up with Chicago rapper G Herbo for ‘BESITO.’
In June, T-Pain dropped visuals to “I Like Dat” that pictures him and Kehlani in the midst of the wild west. Pain flips the concept from his 2007 hit as the beat derives from where he is seen selling ‘dranks’ to a group of cowboys.
