Calboy drops short film for latest track ‘She Knows’

While not having dropped a project in over a year, 22-year-old Chicago-based artist Calboy has been consistent in releasing high-end singles throughout 2021 — keeping his music-hungry fans fed with content.

The former XXL Freshman — most known for his viral song “Envy Me” — has had a successful year thus far. After dropping “Miseducation” with Lil Wayne in March, Calboy keeps his streak going — adding to his 2021 discography with his new single and double visual for “She Knows.”

Calboy is widely known for his high-pitched voice and passionate melodies — crooning about money, women, his struggles and dealing with street life.

Think it’s best I ride with my pole

I just be rollin’ alone

I leave, she, don’t nobody know

Shawty wanna come home with me

‘Cause I get all the racks and she know

Calboy – “She Know”

Today, your typical 2021 music video consists of fast cuts, loud-vibrant colors and countless animations. In this visual — directed by Ben Griffith — we find a heartfelt, cinematic story starring Calboy immersed in the narrative, bringing viewers into his world and along for the ride.

“She Knows” is inherently special because of its dual versions — 1) an official music video version and 2) an extended short-film to complement the track. While Calboy keeps blessing fans with other types of content, be sure to spin “She Know” after watching these visuals.
