As Internet Money superstar Dro Kenji continues to collaborate with his up-and-coming peers, Kentucky rapper E The Profit snagged a verse for a magnetic single.
E’s latest track, “Afford Me,” brings the duo onto an orchestral instrumental with booming kicks and 808s, giving fans an impressive collaboration between these two newcomers in the game.
E and Dro are an electric combo as Kenji starts things off with his classic, melodic delivery for the hook and a verse. In contrast, E’s style is more focused on his raps as he spits a punchline-filled verse.
This collaboration marks E’s first with one of the bigger stars of the new wave. Continuing to make a name for himself by way of his highest-streamed track “Bluegrass,” E has yet to eclipse what he’s capable of. With this high-powered co-sign, he’s one step closer to reaching the heights he’s set out to achieve.
There is no word of E the profit’s next album, still riding the success of his last full-length LP, 2 Effortless. However, listeners can expect more from Kentucky’s next star sooner than later.
