Dreamville duo EarthGang came correct Wednesday (Nov. 3) with a huge announcement for fans worldwide.
The Atlanta-based duo — consisting of Olu (Johnny Venus) and WowGr8 (Doctur Dot) — have officially begun the rollout to their second full-length album, Ghetto Gods. While EarthGang is drawing out its release for dramatic effect, the project is set to drop Jan. 28, 2022 — which so happens to be the birthday of rap legend and founder of Dreamville Records, J. Cole.
To start Ghetto Gods’ rollout, EarthGang posted a short, one-minute video to hype up the approaching project. The visual consists of a voiceover, epic build-up music, eerie lighting and clips of a young boy walking into a peculiar home. Fans are also treated to a snippet of what will most likely be the lead single off the project.
The enigmatic pair also announced their 2022 “Biodeghettable Euro Tour” which will hit over 10 different European countries. The tour is set to kick off on March 6 as tickets go on sale this Friday (Nov. 5) at 10 a.m. on Ghettogods.com.

EarthGang has not dropped a project since their third major album and first album under Dreamville Records titled Mirrorland. They were featured on Spilligion which was a collab album with Spillage Village and J.I.D.
As far as music releases in 2021, the duo has dropped a number of singles — long overdue for a full-length release. Be ready for EarthGang’s takeover come 2022.
