Eminem celebrates 20th anniversary of ‘The Eminem Show’ with expanded edition

Love him or not, Eminem has been one of the most polarizing and influential figures in hip-hop for over two decades — touting a handful of timeless, critically-acclaimed projects at the height of his career in the early 2000’s.

One such project was 2002’s The Eminem Show, which rekindled its charm over the weekend — adding 18 previously unreleased tracks in celebration of its 20th anniversary. The Eminem Show: Expanded Edition marks Marshall Mathers’ first appearance of 2022. Among the additions, Em comes back for another Encore with a slew of bonus tracks, instrumentals, live recordings, freestyles and even a set from his first-ever headline show in New York City.

Most notably, Em shares a track featuring three members of G-Unit50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. “Bump Heads” is an eerie diss track directed ad Ja Rule, with all four emcees coming at the New York rapper. Two live renditions of “The Way I Am” and “The Real Slim Shady” feature posthumous contributions from Proof as he raps alongside Em.
