EST Gee has been having an astronomical year after releasing his debut album Bigger Than Life Or Death. Since it’s release, Gee has been busy hopping on guest spots, teasing new music and dropping visuals for his latest LP.
EST Gee does big numbers with debut album
Linking up with Lil Durk — one of the hardest working rappers in the game right now — for the visual to “In Town,” Gee and Durk bring forth a high-energy anthem about loss. Seen hanging out in luxurious vehicles, the pair sing-raps about their experiences of losing loved ones and threatening their competition simultaneously.
The contrast between the lyrical content and production does wonders for Gee and “The Voice,” as the newfound duo spits introspective verses that stick in the minds of listeners.
Between The Voice of the Heroes and features for Drake, Kanye West, Polo G, Pooh Shiesty, Trippie Redd and many others, Lil Durk continues to attain superstar level stature. Collecting 37 Billboard entries in 2021, Durk has been one of — if the not the most sought after artist of the year.
However, Durk isn’t the only experiencing success. EST Gee shot into the spotlight after his intimately raw debut Bigger Than Life Or Death, catching the ears of some of hip-hop’s grandiose influencers. At the rate he’s dropping, fans can surely expect more from the Louisville up-and-comer as year winds down.
