IDK spits fire new freestyle for LA Leakers

Maryland rapper gives bars coming off the release of his second studio album ‘USEE4YOURSELF.’

IDK visited Power 106 in Los Angeles for the LA Leakers show on July 21 to drop a freestyle over Brent Faiyaz and Drake‘s “Wasting Time” beat.

This past year alone, DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible of LA Leakers have hosted a litany of major rappers on their show to spit hot freestyles. In May, J. Cole stopped by in the middle of the rollout for his sixth studio album, The Off-Season.

Then in June, Polo G, the Migos, Ski Mask the Slump God and Vic Mensa paid the show a visit. And, so far this month, Vince Staples joined the show for an assertive and focused freestyle verse the same week his self-titled album dropped.

Having dropped USEE4YOURSELF the same week as Staples, IDK elevated his career with stellar features, intriguing new singles and powerful storytelling on the project. USEE4YOURSELF is IDK’s first project to land on the Billboard 200 chart, debuting at No. 164.

In IDK’s LA Leakers freestyle, he shouts out Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, while schooling fellow up-and-coming rappers on how they’re moving wrong. Looking wise beyond his years, IDK dropped menacing bars like:

My biggest fear is reaching my limits to go and crash, that’s figuratively

Who’s the best new rapper? I figured it’s me

Think about it, most these n****s focused on writtens and beats

That’s cute, I do the same shit while running the streets, running my label, running my staff and still can compete
