Looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is looking to hip-hop for its newest talent.
According to Comic Book Resources, Megan Thee Stallion will be making an appearance in the Disney+ series for She-Hulk. The female version of the Hulk will be receiving her own series with Tatiana Maslany taking the lead role.
Meg is set to play a dramatized version of herself in the series, but fans will have to wait and see whether this is just a cameo role or if she will be a staple character in the show.
This won’t be the first superhero look for the “Savage” rapper. She and Normani collaborated on the song “Diamonds” for the movie Birds of Prey. Megan has also acted in the show Good Girls, playing Onyx.
From Ludacris in the Fast and the Furious movies, Pop Smoke in Boogie and A$AP Rocky in Monster, it is always refreshing to see our favorite musical artists in other media productions. Disney+ has been dropping nothing but new-age fan favorites with Wandavision and Loki, as She-Hulk‘s writers surely will find a creative way to utilize Megan’s persona on screen.
