Mozzy joins Kenny Beats for an inspirational episode of ‘The Cave’

Very rarely do listeners get a look at music creation like on Kenny Beats’ Youtube series The Cave. Mozzy is the latest artist to roll through Kenny’s now-infamous studio, dropping 11 minutes of straight knowledge in the DOTS studio.

Following appearances from artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Doja Cat, Denzel Curry, Mac DeMarco, Maxo Kream and more, the Sacramento rapper makes his mark on the show with his classic California demeanor. When asked how he feels to be back in the studio, Mozzy exclaims “blessed and highly favored.”

Kenny cooks him up a beautiful instrumental using a mellow vocal sample with boom-bap drums, giving Mozzy the space to spit lyrics about his come-up and gratitude for the success he’s achieved.

Kenny Beats has never been one to slow down on his work, dropping songs with dvr, Offset Jim, Jany Green, Since99, reggie, Monte Booker and more in 2021 alone. Earlier this year, he remixed his collab album with Denzel Curry, UNLOCKED 1.5, which saw appearances from Smino, Joey Bada$$, Alchemist, Charlie Heat, Kenny Mason and Benny the Butcher among others.

Mozzy has been similarly busy with the release of his 25th solo project, Untreated Trauma. YG also joined the California veteran for a collaborative project titled Kommunity Service back in March with additional collaborators G Herbo, Young M.A, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie, Tyga, Blxst and more.
