PARTYNEXTDOOR drops fourth installment of self-titled album series ‘P4’

PARTYNEXTDOOR is back on demon time, sharing more racy and raunchy bars on the fourth installment of his self-titled album series, P4.

The 14-track effort, released on Friday (April 26) through OVO Sound, saw a handful of singles—and shock value present in the project’s NSFW artwork—come through in recent weeks. Lead tracks “Her Old Friends,” “Resentment,” “Lose My Mind” and “Real Woman” paved the way for Party’s return after a near 4-year full-length hiatus.

The record’s latest single, “Lose My Mind,” is truly for the day 1 PND fans who’ve been listening to the longtime leak for years. With sultry guitars and seductive production, Party’s f*ck boy allure reaches new highs like his captivating falsetto. “Real Woman” echoes this feeling ten-fold, but his player ways take a bit of a backseat. “That’s the type of girl I make my wifey,” he croons over its patented slow burn, underwater beat.

Speaking with Billboard about the new record, Party says P4 “is the hardest I’ve ever worked on an album.” This is the proudest I’ve felt,” he said. “I’m excited to grind even more for the next [one]. I’m in love with how hard you should work for it.”

The OVO artist has been out of the limelight since PARTYMOBILE’s release in 2020. Officially packaging long-beloved songs like “PERSIAN RUGS” and “BUZZIN” on the oft-shared PARTYPACK, he also brought his career-defining mixtape COLOURS to streaming in 2021.

Party with P4 as PND dims the lights for yet another suave outing.
