Fans of Rick Ross were due for a new album this year, with the MMG CEO dropping a full-length project every two years since 2015. With a notable feature run in 2021, he’s looking to cap it all off with a stacked release of his own on his new album Richer Than I Ever Been.
On top of sharing his 11th studio album, Ross visited Rap Radar’s Elliot Wilson and and B-Dot for “A Richer Conversation” — discussing his new record, life and the meaning music, among other things.
Ross has always managed to garner an all-star cast and Richer Than I Ever Been is no different. The-Dream drops a fantastic hook on its opening track, “Little Havana,” as Ross reminds listeners why he is considered a top-tier luxury rapper.
Benny the Butcher joins Rozay over a lavish trumpet instrumental for “Rapper Estates” before Wale and Future pick up the energy on “Warm Words in a Cold World.”
Dream Doll, Yungeen Ace, Majornine, Blxst, Jazmine Sullivan, 21 Savage and Wiz Khalifa all add contributions to this soulful project as Ross revels in the new heights of success he has achieved. Ross himself showcases how he has managed to stay at the top all these years, continuing his reign of top-tier lyricism and flow.

Rick Ross promotes new album with army of armored cars
Like his upcoming album title may suggest, Rick Ross has clearly done well for himself and those around him.
As fans patiently wait for his 11th studio album, Richer Than I Ever Been, Ross’ illustrious career truly speaks for itself. Following his 2019 blockbuster Port Of Miami, Ross has taken it upon himself to get creative with his latest project’s rollout — and accompanying marketing strategy.
Rozay enlisted the help of Garda — a money-collecting truck service — to have a fleet of Rozay Money Trucks driving around, promoting the project in the process. On the side of these trucks shows Ross’ album name and its upcoming release date on Dec. 10.
This has been a fruitful year for fans of Maybach Music honcho, appearing on two Drake tracks in “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” and “You Only Live Twice” alongside Lil Wayne. Earlier in the year, Rozay also made an appearance on projects by Guapdad4000, Pop Smoke, Kodie Shane and more.
Richer Than I Ever Been is already looking to be yet another classic Ross project — filled with lavish bars, silky smooth production and patented Rozay flows throughout. Given the extravagance of the project’s current promotion, it’s only a matter of time before Ross’ new era is revealed to the masses.
As we wait, stream his latest singles, “Little Havana” featuring The-Dream and Willie Falcon and “Outlawz” with 21 Savage and Jazmine Sullivan.
