OTF’s Slimelife Shawty shares Lil Durk-produced album ‘Better Living’

If you haven’t made yourself familiar with Slimelife Shawty, now’s a better time than any. The Atlanta rapper’s come-up in the game has been quick and effective, proving why on his latest full-length album, Better Living.

Better Living comes complete with verses from Nardo Wick, Future, Lil Durk and Jackboy. Durk, who is named as the executive producer of the album, appears alongside Slimelife in the colorful music video for “Suit Me Up,” a standout track from the album.

Slimelife made a name for himself working with fellow Atlanta artists in Future and Lil Keed. Since signing to Durk’s OTF imprint, his collaborations have only gotten bigger and on Better Living, his sound seems to have fully formed for him to continue to build off it.

Earlier this year, he appeared on the OTF compilation Loyal Bros on “Dying 2 Hit’em,” a dark, narrative track with the OTF head honcho making an appearance.

Given the frequency of Slimelife Shawty’s drops — and his affiliation with Lil Durk — expect more music on the way from one of Atlanta’s hottest up-and-comers.
